Validating records

Check every record for required fields, correct types, sensible ranges and duplicates, and collect clear errors per row instead of crashing.

You will be able to

• Write a check function that returns a list of problems for one record
• Test for missing or blank required fields, values that cannot be converted, out-of-range numbers and unknown categories
• Report problems with the row's line number in the file and detect duplicate ids
• Separate valid and invalid records so good data can still be used
