Track 13 · Lesson 3 of 12
Testing with pytest
Let pytest find and run your tests, write them with plain asserts, and read its output to see exactly what failed.
You will be able to
- Name test files, functions and classes so that pytest discovers them
- Run pytest from a terminal and from the browser runner
- Read pytest's output: dots, F, the failure report and the summary line
- Use common options such as -q, -x, -k and running a single test
