Logging for automation

Record what unattended scripts do with the logging module: levels, named loggers, formats, log files and reading logs back.

You will be able to

• Choose the right logging level for a message and explain what the level threshold does
• Configure a named logger with a handler and a format
• Write a log file in the working folder without duplicating lines on repeated setup
• Read a log file back and summarise it by level
