Track 5 · Lesson 2 of 12
Parameters and arguments
Give functions inputs: declare parameters in the definition and pass arguments in the call, in the right order.
You will be able to
- Define a function with one or more parameters
- Pass arguments to a function and explain how they are matched to parameters by position
- Use parameters inside the body instead of fixed values or outside variables
- Recognise the TypeError raised when a call passes the wrong number of arguments
