Project: gradebook analyzer

Build a gradebook for a teacher: averages, letter grades, class statistics, a fair ranking with ties, missing work and an aligned report, one function at a time.

You will be able to

• Break a requirements brief into small functions that each do one job and return a value
• Store records in a dictionary of lists and process them with loops and sorting keys
• Treat boundary values, empty lists and missing data as explicit requirements
• Rank records fairly, including ties, with a sort key and a single pass
• Combine earlier functions into a formatted report without repeating their logic
