Reading documentation and choosing packages
Read documentation, help() output, docstrings and signatures confidently, judge whether a third-party package is safe to depend on, and build a small utility package in four milestones.
You will be able to
- Find what you need in official documentation and help(), and read a function signature including / and *
- Write docstrings and inspect signatures and docstrings with the inspect module
- Judge a third-party package on maintenance, licence, security and popularity before installing it
- Build a small package of your own, use it from a script, and generate a report of its documented API
