Arabic typing, done properly
Arabic has its own challenges: different hamza forms are different letters, diacritics are typed with Shift, and real text often switches to English. Our Arabic course teaches each of these deliberately instead of translating an English course.
What you'll practise
- The Arabic home row: ش س ي ب ل ا ت ن م ك ط
- Top and bottom rows, including ة ى ؤ ئ ء and the لا key
- Hamza forms أ إ آ and Arabic punctuation ، ؛ ؟
- Diacritics: fatha, damma, kasra, sukun, shadda and tanween
- Numbers, dates and prices in Arabic text
- Switching between Arabic and English
- Professional Arabic writing: emails, letters and reports
